ABOUT COACH JAY

Jay started running 26 years ago inspired by an aunt and uncle who were stand out runners. His love of running grew through high school cross country and track. After starting college, he began running longer races, namely marathons and half-marathons. While studying in Columbus, Ohio he became part of Team In Training, first as a participant and then as a team trainer leading runs.

In 2005, was hired as the Track and Cross Country Coach at Grandview Heights High School in Grandview, Ohio. Jay coached the Grandview teams for five years before taking a job on the west coast.
